“Boker tov  v’bruchim ha-baim l’ivrit” Tov – Good Boker tov – Good Morning Erev tov – Good evening Laila tov – Good night  

Baruch haba (singular) Bruchim ha-baim (plural) – Welcome Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai – Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord  

Adonai – Lord HaShem – The Name

Elohim – God  

Sliha = Excuse me or I am sorry

  1. Hey! I’ve been enjoying these posts on learning Hebrew! I have notebook I use for taking notes and practice writing the new Hebrew letters. I’m listening to this lesson again, to refresh myself with some stuff that I may have missed. Anyway, I look forward to listening and learning more a bout Hebrew! Thank you so much for making these! A true blessing to me! Oh…I almost pronounced the Hebrew word at the bottom correct, weird to read right to left! Thanks again!
