  1. Thank you for this article; I am a woman nearing 70, and have repented of past failures time and again; knowing God has forgiven me, I still feel shame at times. My life is nothing like it was many years ago, yet I still feel remorse for things I did. I am so glad for this reminder.

    1. I am so glad it encouraged you! Thank you so much!! He has not only forgiven you but chooses to remember your sins no more!! You are blameless in His eyes!!

  2. Thanks so much for this. I recently took the time to commit to my faith and renew myself as a person. Sometimes it is hardest to accept our own forgiveness when the ones we have hurt forgive us because we wonder why they did. God reminds us that we’re worthy of forgiveness no matter what we have done in our past. And our past doesn’t have to dictate our future. We are free to wash it away, repent, forgive ourselves, and move into a higher light.

    1. I am so happy you are committing yourself and that “forgiveness guilt” can happen when we do take steps like that because the devil loves nothing more than to guilt us away from it so amen to your comment and God bless you!

  3. My faith is in GOD and his many promises! I sometimes need to be reminded of what GOD has done for me and who I am in him. I do not need to carry the burden of guilt and regret. My GOD remembers them no more!
Thank you Dear GOD and I praise your Holy name!

  4. Thank you for reminding me that God has forgiven me of my past sins ,most times I try to let it go but it keeps coming back I don’t know what to do I have even read many bible verses concerning forgiveness but still feel guilty

    1. It is always so easy for us to forgive others but we have such a hard time forgiving ourselves dont we? Guilt is not from God so do not let the enemy make you carry that load!!
