  1. These are so helpful! I rarely do any pins just because they seem so overwhelming and I don’t fully understand them. These tips were really easy to understand and apply. Thank you so much!

  2. Thanks so much for this! Pinterest is like my Achilles heel because I’m still pretty new to blogging and it’s taking me a little while to get the hang of all of it. I’m sure these tips are going to help, thanks for making it so clear!

  3. I wish more Tribe members would read this post. You’re spot on with everything, though the biggest reason I’ll pass on a pin is the image quality and how it’s designed. I see a lot of pins that are very generic or have badly done graphics and that’s what makes me pass on more than the descriptions do.

  4. I used to think that sharing people’s pin on your board was waste of time. Now I know it works to increase traffic to my blog.

    1. Yes because when you share their pins to relevant boards Pinterest sees you as someone who shares good content so your stuff is shown more

  5. Yes!! As a Tribe manager I can attest to allll of this. Another common problem is that people don’t make distinct pins for each post but just reuse the same pin over and over so people think they’ve pinned it already.

    1. Yes you are so right! If they keep using the same pin without adding new ones people won’t keep resharing it. And as you know, Pinterest actually wants new pins for the same posts! They want new content. I try my best (when I get busy it is tough) to actually remove my pins from a blog post a couple of days later and add two or three new ones and pin those so this way people going to my post aren’t sharing the same pin that’s been shared already!

    1. Feel free to reach out if you need any help! I found Tailwind confusing myself at first but now I don’t know what I would do without it!

  6. I agree with Kayla about the hashtag thing but if it means more shared pins, I reckon I’ll have to give it a go. I personally haven’t branched to using an additional “helper” like Tailwind because I honestly just don’t want to add another “thing” to my plate. LOL! But these are some great tips that I can start implementing ASAP!

    1. Tailwind has saved me so much time and energy! I am using Smartloops and it is amazing! It does all the heavy lifting for you!! Glad you found the post helpful!

  7. I use the Tailwind tribes and I had my biggest week yet. It took a little while to learn everything but I absolutely love tailwind and tribes!

    1. Yes! They are great, aren’t they? And I think they are going to weigh in heavier than groups if they are not already!
