  1. thank you for this. I can relate to the israelites and their 40 year trip. I am now 60 years old, and I used to think I would never be like them. Now, I realize I am more like them than I would like to admit. I often doubt God and wonder if He will ever do that which I am praying for. There are no guarantees in this life…but in the life to come- wow! However, you are so right when you talk about faith that is not tested is not worth anything. I have been tested, especially over the last 10 years, and sometimes I have failed miserably. But now, I see my faith being challenged, yet it is becoming pure gold, and Christ is more precious to me than life. I am so grateful for the stories in the Bible- right now, for the israelites, who as the wandered, those who were faithless died, (no longer spreading the cancer of doubt) so the faith-filled could flourish. I feel like that in so many ways in my life, especially in this pandemic. God has kept me away from my children (who live in Canada, and I in the US) because their lack of faith was ruining mine. And during this time, I have become stronger, learned to love God with my whole heart again, and cast aside the sin of doubt that has so easily entangled me. My faith is being purified like gold. Like the israelites. And He is reigning in my heart once again. Thanks again for your work. It is a blessing.

  3. Hmmm, thank you so much. I will be 40 in some days. while meditating I decided to search for the spiritual meaning of 40. I learnt about the 3T’s in your write up Testing, Trials & Truimp. I have experience the first 2T’s. I wait patiently to experience the last T. Thank you so much.

  4. Thank you for this. My whole life has been filled with testing. Bitterness and anger from a very young age because of a speech impediment. Then I got married thinking it would help me. Only to find out she was abusive and a narcissist. I will turn 40 this month, and I feel like I have been farther away from God than ever before. I just read the story of Stephen in the book of Acts where he talks about Moses being 40 years old when he got the burden to help his people and left the house of Pharaoh, thus beginning his journey to helping the Israelites out of bondage. That prompted me to google the number 40 in the Bible. I’m really wondering if God is about to do something in my life. I desperately need something to change.
    Thank you again.

    1. Oh, Michael! Yes, God has a plan for you and perhaps at the age of 40, your plan will be revealed. Call on God and ask Him to open your eyes to where He needs you. You may want to check out my post on God’s calling in your life. God bless you and thank you for stopping by1

    1. HI Matilde – unfortunately, I do not have a printable for that post. With over 300 posts, I chose to only provide printables for very long posts or those that made sense to me to provide one. Thank you for stopping by, and have a blessed day.

      1. Sometimes dreams are just that. I’m only conjecturing, but perhaps the Lord is asking you to draw nearer to Him to keep Satan at bay. I would pray before the Lord and ask for wisdom and discernment regarding this dream. I will be praying for clarity and peace. Have a beautiful and blessed day.
