  1. Hi Sue
When I teach my daughters the armor of God, I always include Colossians 3:12-17 (NIV). It’s really important to me that we clothe ourselves on the “inside” as well.
    Thank you for your post.

  7. Hello Sue
Thank you so very much for this post. Although it looks as d the original is from 2018, I agree with the other comments written here, it is so on point.

I haven’t read or interpreted the Armor of God in this way before. Interesting that I’ve been holding on so very strong to my faith, through the death of my husband two years ago, through a scam that occurred to me, and most recently through the death of my beloved mother. I don’t know where I’d be without my faith. “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” And indeed, He has!!

I’m a visual person and the descriptions you utilize in your post are already helping me recall them easily and reminds me of what I need to protect against Satan. I have experienced his trials, they are not easy and at times devastating. My faith in our all powerful God keeps making me stronger.

In fact, for years, I’ve carried in my purse a photo of a woman dressed in the Armor of God. Simply looking at it is a reminder of the strength God gives us.

Thank you again for this post. I’m glad it’s still here 5 years later. I was meant to read this in the early morning hours, as I’ve had a restless night. “God is our strength and our salvation.”

Let’s all be encouraged in the Holy Trinity!! Blessings to you and all who read your post!! Praise God!

    Elena
