  1. Diane, I can relate to this. Over the past four years of following God, soooo many little things have come to surface. I have learned to honor my feelings whatever they are and ask Him to be with me. Your image of the broken plate, with tiny pieces initially unnoticed is powerful!

  2. Psalm 34:18 has always been a verse I like to keep close. I’m glad that God knows what to do with all our broken pieces, and we can know what to do with the broken pieces too–give them to Him. Thanks, Diane.

  3. Very powerful message and a great reminder that everything matters to God, not just the “big stuff”. He’s such a good and gracious Father to always care about each and every detail. Thank you for this beautiful message.

  4. Amen, thank you for such a blessed lesson. Wow! I felt like you were talking directly to me. I gave all my big hurts to God, but it wasn’t until reading your lesson that I realized there were still some unseen fragments of hurt. I paused and reflected on your words. Blessings.

  5. Diane,
What a beautiful and thought-provoking post. Yes, those little shards need to be dealt with too. I’m so glad we have a loving Father who will tenderly care for us. Thank you for sharing with Grace & Truth Link-Up.
    Blessings,
    Maree

  6. It’s true–often it’s the little things that give us the most problems. They tend to stay unresolved because they are so little. But they hinder and hurt us. I’m thankful we can cast *all* our cares on Him.

  7. This is very insightful, Diane, “I had forgiven and I had moved on, but I hadn’t given over those painful words. I was living the resulting pain and self-image I inherited from them every single day and was still allowing them to make me feel insecure and unworthy.”
