  1. I’ll miss you, but absolutely know we all need time away from our screens! I’ll be away for the next ten days as well. Summer blessings to you!

    1. Thank you Michele!! I will likely have a post or two that are pre-written that will publish but no link up.

  2. I love thinking of waiting on God as active expectation as you’ve described, not just nervous hoping and fidgeting.

  3. I’m not very good at this: “When we wait on the Lord expectantly, we are believing we have already received it!” so thanks for the encouragement to walk in faith more. My word for the year is “hope” and that goes right along with what you’re sharing. Thanks, Diane.

  4. Thank you for your post on “waiting”. I learn something new every time I read one of your posts. We wait for God expectantly, but it is also true that He waits for us!

  5. Waiting with anticipation, fully believing He has already answered with our best in mind is something I long for! Tweeted 🙂

  6. I love this. I will wait expectantly for the Lord! God bless you for the words He gives you to encourage so many.

  7. Wonderful encouragement this Wednesday morning Diane!! Waiting on the Lord, yes I will wait expectantly in His name!!

  8. Waiting on the Lord is a very active thing. I didn’t always understand that, (and still don’t, sometimes!) but im learning.

    Enjoy your summer!

  9. This post about what it means to wait on the Lord was something I needed. I have been waiting for healing for over 3 years. God revealed to me 2 years ago that breakthrough is coming. I hold on to that message on the lowest of my days. One day God’s promise will happen. I don’t have a clue what the breakthrough will look like and that is scary and exciting! I know that He is preparing me for His will in my life. Until that day, I am waiting on the Lord!

    Thank you for this post!

    1. I am so glad you found it encouraging and I am praying for your healing and for God to strengthen you in the waiting!!

  10. Thanks for breaking down this lesson. Praying you receive much during your time away. laurensparks.net
