  1. I admit I don’t race to many tasks with joy and excitement. But I should if I truly do everything as unto the Lord.

    1. It is sometimes really hard for me because I get to busy that I see things as more of an annoyance than a blessing I GET to do. I am working on it myself!

  2. Worship music keeps my heart turned toward God throughout the day whether I’m in the kitchen cooking, at my desk writing or even working out. I put together a great Rona aka Coronavirus playlist that ministers to my soul. It’s filled with songs like; God Is My Refuge (Fred Hammond), In Christ Alone (Travis Cottrelle) Graves Into Gardens (Elevation Worship), New Name Written Down In Glory (Charity Gayle), etc. It’s playing softly in the background as I write this comment. Worship music is everything!

    1. What a great list!! My husband calls it “The Rona” as well! I have not yet heard Graves into Gardens because I have been listening primarily Messianic music these days because I get closer in worship through it and…Passover LOL But I will have a listen!!

  3. Thanks for the podcast recommendations and for your faithful presence here.
I’m grateful for a husband who has always honored and appreciated my contribution as the “keeper at home.” I think it would have been more challenging without that affirmation close by.

    1. Such an important ministry! I always look at the Proverbs 31 Woman as just that…the keeper of the home and an entrepreneur too!

  4. Thank you for these verses about serving God with joyfulness, Diane! I can’t wait till we can get back to church, but that’s not to say that we can’t serve God right where we are today. We can! And we should! Thanks for these thoughts!

  5. Thank you for this wonderful post, you put a new spin on the perspective about house chores and menial tasks. In whatever we do, we should honour God.

  6. Diane – Were you listening in on my grumbling. I tell you the dishwasher seems to be running non-stop these days. Thank you for your wisdom here in this post. I do think a little adjustment in my attitude will help. Thank you for sharing with Grace & Truth Link-Up. Maree

  7. All of life, everything we do is a form of worship, isn’t it! But there are definitely tasks I don’t always think of that way! Thanks for reminding us that we are to do everything as unto the Lord. Easter blessings!

  8. Ouch. I do complain and sigh about those menial tasks, calling the doctor back, cleaning the kitchen again for the fourth time, and paying bills. Thanks for this reminder to do things joyfully as we minister to those around us. That these small things are ways of serving others.

  9. I do show joy in some of my daily life serving Jesus. But like many, I do not approach all my tasks or interactions with joy . Thank you for teaching this much needed lesson about serving God every day. I dearly appreciate your words. Blessings.

    1. Thank you Paula! I admit there are still many tasks where my “joy” needs to be worked on LOL But until Yeshua returns we are all still works in progress!!
