  1. Love this! We are currently studying being a proverbs 31 woman in our WMU group! I will definitely add Titus 2 to the list!

  2. This is a great post. Women definitely benefit from having loving mentors pour into their lives. I wish I had Christian mentors in my life when I was a 19 year old newlywed – I would have benefited from their wisdom!

  3. Such a good truth! I realized a few years ago that I am now in the Titus 2 Category. I was in a homeschool group for my second set of kids. I realized I was answering questions more than asking them. Mentoring more than being mentored. Teaching instead of learning. I realized it was much a much greater responsibility than getting up early and preparing the family for the day. It was helping other younger Mother’s do not only learn how to do that, but to see their worth and value. Great post!

  4. Diane, I love this so much! I am so thankful that you are choosing to use your experiences for the glory of God! Love your point that we can BE the letters.

  5. Such a good point, I’ve been having a similar conversation with my sister in law. I tell my friends multiple times that I can’t believe no one told me how hard motherhood is or gave me any tips to help. I mentor young women and it’s something I hope to do for my whole life.

  6. I love how you described becoming a Proverbs 31 woman a stepping stone. Thank you for that new thought! I know we never “arrive,” but God continues to mold me and shape me to be more like His Son. I won’t reach that goal this side of eternity, but I can pass on to other the wisdom He’s given me as I made mistakes and grown through them. Thank you for this powerful reminder. I loved your words here! Bless you!

  7. Wow! This is a POWERFUL message. Thank you for sharing your story. This encouragement is definitely something I’d like to bring to my church 🙂

  8. I love how you describe the process from Proverbs 31 woman to Titus 2 mentor. I will say that there have been times where I am mentored by younger women. Age is not always a requirement for mentoring and I have been blessed as a result.Thank you for sharing this at #TellHisStory.

  9. It’s amazing how God confirms things to you when you ask Him what it is that He wants you to do next for Him, when you align yourself with the purpose for your life. I was sharing yesterday from my heart in a Christian group yesterday about how I didn’t learn about Christian relationships and how to be a woman of God when I first got saved at 17, but that I have no regrets of the things I went through to become the woman I am today, because God used it all to build my faith and character. I shared how sometimes people are ashamed to share what they have been through in life, when God wants to use it to minister to others; I was one of those people, but not anymore. I openly share what I have been through in life because it encourages others and brings hope. Then I came across your blog post on Pinterest and it confirms that God has been using me to speak into other women’s lives as a Titus 2 mentor. Thank you for sharing this, I have shared the link to this website in my online Women’s group, Daughters of the King.

    1. Thank you so much!! I am so glad it gave you confirmation and you are such a blessing to so many people by sharing your story!!
