  1. So true! “We wrestle not against flesh and blood . . .” This is a battle that’s too big for us to take on alone!

    1. Wow, Diane! The enemy knows his foes well. If he fashions weapons to harm individual believers, we need to be prepared at all times and we must know the tactics of the enemy. Thanks for this great post! (Pinned)

      Peace and grace,

  2. Yes, this! I’ve been going through Spiritual warfare lately, myself and turning to His Word reveals so much. Thank you for this!

  3. Diane, this was very powerful. I have been experiencing spiritual warfare in one area of my life for sometime now. Everytime I think I have it under control, the attacks get worse. I have tried and prayed to give it to God, but I still feel the attacks. Thanks so much for sharing!

  4. Thank you for clarifying spiritual warfare. You made me realize the battle I’m fighting in my own life. It’s there and very real and now that I know what it is, I’m gearing up for battle.

  5. I have really never thought of the attacks of Satan in quite this way. Thank you. lauresnsparks.net

  6. Oh, Diane! This was amazing… So true. And it helps so much to find out the meaning of the words in the original languages. I love that! Thank you so much for researching and writing this 🙂

  7. Diane, what a solid, biblically sound study on spiritual warfare! I’m pinning on my “posts worth reading” board in the hope that it will bless others.

  8. How interesting that word, kalah, something prepared so similar to kallah, bride. And Orthodox brides are cover, jsut as we need to be with His blood and our testimony.

  9. Thank you for this post and your wisdom and insight on spiritual warfare. I have found there are many that aren’t exactly sure what it is or even if it’s a thing. I also appreciate your comment about it not being an occasional thing, but that we need to stay armored up and be prepared all the time.

  10. This is so good! I know Satan is at me and my family all the time, but I get lax in my prayer life. I don’t fight like I should. Recently things have been super tense in my marriage. We had a blow up right before church one day and it got so nasty. I finally stopped and raged at Satan instead of my husband and poor kids. I’m back on the offensive! Last year I did a study on Ephesians, so I know how to fight the enemy. The thing I have to work on is staying diligent. Laziness in this area just won’t do!

    1. He loves to attack us right before church doesn’t he? I am so glad you’re back on the offensive!! Praying for you!! I know he has been hitting me hard since I hit publish on that post!!
